Road Tax Bandings
From April 2007 the government updated its annual road fund licence charges for all new cars registered after 1st March 2001 to be based on the individual cars CO2 emissions. These now start from £0 per annum for the greenest cars emitting less than 100g/km and go up to £300 for some of the most polluting vehicles around with the highest CO2 emissions. We have included details of these Road Tax or Vehicle Excise Duty charges below.
