Who are ‘valuecarsdirect’ and why should I use them?

At valuecarsdirect.co.uk we want to save you the hassle of trawling round numerous dealerships and having endless conversations and negotiations with various different sales people. We have years of experience in the UK motor trade and as such have a detailed understanding of how both car manufacturers and UK dealers work.

It is this experience combined with our ability to buy cars at wholesale prices and operate on significantly reduced overheads compared to most UK dealers and car supermarkets that allows us to offer you some fantastic savings on a wide range of cars. As we have no direct responsibility to any one brand, rather than just trying to sell you a single make or model as most dealership sales teams might, we can offer you professional, helpful and impartial advice on your next car.

We have used our expertise to search the UK car network to provide you the best possible deals on a wide selection of cars available from most main UK manufacturers. All of our new cars are sourced from selected main franchised UK dealerships and as we buy at wholesale prices are offered for sale with some fantastic savings. Our selection of nearly new and used cars are again sourced from main UK dealerships, direct from manufacturers or other impeccable UK sources and are all offered at the lowest possible prices.

What if I can’t find the exact model I want?

Not to worry, at valuecarsdirect.co.uk if we haven’t got the car you are interested in listed, simply complete our quick ‘Personalised Search’ request and we will do the rest.

With such a wide range of main UK dealers, manufacturers and other impeccable UK sources to search from we feel confident that we will be able to locate your ideal car at a price that’s right for you. If for any reason we are unsuccessful in matching your exact requirements we will then offer you the nearest car we could find to your first choice car.

Can I choose specific options for my new car?

As our cars are sourced and supplied from UK based main dealers directly, you can choose an exact specification for your car should you so wish. Simply advise us of the options you require in the notes section of any of our enquiry or contact forms and we'll get back to you with a tailored quotation and delivery date.

Do you offer car finance?

Yes, we can offer you a range of different finance packages for you to fund your new car. To see what is available please click this link to our ‘Finance Page’. Alternatively you can request a tailored finance quote to suit your specific requirements by completing our simple Quick Finance Quote’ form and we’ll call you back at a time to suit you with a detailed quotation.

In most instances we will also request a finance quote from the supplying franchised dealer.  This way you can be safe in the knowledge that we are even comparing the finance deal you would be offered as though you were stood in their showroom.

How are your prices so low?

Because we are an independent office based company and do not represent a single manufacturer we do not have the huge expense of a showroom, dealership staff, advertising or salespeople's commissions to pay, nor are we obliged to follow any manufacturers set pricing and advertising policy.

We can therefore search the entire UK dealer network for the best possible deals, negotiate great volume wholesale discount prices with key suppliers and then pass these savings onto you as we can operate on much lower margins.

We continually review the prices of all the cars to ensure that you get the car you want at the best possible price.

Can I part exchange my current car?

Yes you can, simply provide a detailed and accurate description of your current car by completing our ‘Part Exchange' valuation form and we will provide you with a price for your current car. However we will also point out to our clients that if they sell their car privately then they would be more likely to achieve a higher price and therefore reduce the outstanding balance of their new car.

You may even want to accept our part exchange price as a ‘fall back' position then attempt to sell your car privately prior to delivery of your new one. Remember we don't need to take your car in part exchange but are happy to offer you this as an option should you wish.

My local dealer has offered me a special deal on low rate finance, can you match this?

Yes, as we have relationships with many of the UK main dealers representing most manufacturers, if your local dealership can offer you a particular deal then we should also be able to as well, maybe even better it.

Simply complete our 'Contact Us' form and tell us exactly what you've been offered. We'll then contact our network of suppliers specific to this manufacturer and see if we can get you a better deal. What have you got to lose?

What warranty and guarantees will I get?

By only supplying UK cars from UK main dealers, all new vehicles are supplied with the manufacturers warranty, this is usually a minimum of 3 years cover and in most instances includes at least 1 years roadside assistance.*

All nearly new and used cars are supplied with a minimum of 1 years parts and labour warranty, however in most instances cars supplied that are under 3 years old will carry the balance of the manufacturers 3 year warranty. If however your car has less than 1 years warranty remaining then this will be renewed accordingly to our 12 month minimum warranty period.

*New car warranty cover provided by individual manufacturers may vary in some instances be for periods greater than 3 years and roadside assistance service may also vary.  For full details please refer to the manufacturers quoted warranty and breakdown cover terms.

Can I test drive a car before buying it?

At present we do not offer this service. We would ask that you maybe visit your local main dealer for a test drive and then contact valuecarsdirect.co.uk to see how much money we can save you on the car you have selected.

Are your cars imported, if not where do they come from?

No we do not sell import cars or import cars ourselves. All of the cars supplied are sourced and supplied from UK main dealers, manufactures or other impeccable UK sources and are all to full UK specification.  They are all therefore exactly the same as any car you would buy from any main UK dealer.

Can I have my car delivered and is this service free of charge?

All cars supplied by valuecarsdirect.co.uk include free of charge delivery anywhere in mainland UK (excludes Northern Ireland) which will be undertaken by either a representative of valuecarsdirect or the supplying UK main dealer. Alternatively should you wish to collect your new car direct from the supplying dealer then this can also be arranged.

What happens if I am not happy with my car when it’s delivered?

If you are not satisfied with your new car on delivery then we will work with the supplying dealer and do everything possible to rectify any problem with the minimum inconvenience to yourself.

However if you are still unsatisfied for any valid reason, we will endeavour to exchange your car for a similar make or model located from our extensive sources within the first 14 days of your ownership. You therefore know that we are committed to get everything right for you first time

Who do I talk to if I have a problem after delivery?

At valuecarsdirect.co.uk we are committed to ensuring that you are completely satisfied with the whole buying process and delivery process of your new car. We will even undertake regular follow up calls to ensure that this is the case. Therefore should you wish to speak to anyone regarding an issue you may have we would ask that you contact us on our local rate number 0845 8620677 in the first instance or click ‘Contact Us’ with your query directly. Alternatively please feel free to call the supplying dealer at any time. This way we can make sure you are both completely satisfied with your car, our service and that you are also more likely to recommend us to your family, friends and colleagues.

Will my local dealer service and maintain my car?

Having spent many years working in the UK motor industry we can assure you that service clients are just as sought after as sales clients, although it may not always appear to be the case. It's just the same as buying a car in one part of the country and then re-locating to another.

Therefore please be assured that you're after sales and service business is of great value and as such will be very much appreciated by all UK main dealers

Sounds good, but what’s in it for us?

As you will have probably realised we are a business and not a charitable organisation and therefore we need to make a profit.

We are however different from main UK franchised dealers in that we do not operate large expensive showrooms; have to meet manufacturers set standards, run expensive marketing and demonstration programmes and as such our daily overheads are very much lower. Instead we operate on a high volume, low margin basis which gives us a competitive edge over the main UK dealers and allow us to pass on these savings direct to you.
